Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) Office to Break Room; On or about March 23, 2022 and at times prior, employees were exposed to fire hazards, in that a flexible cord from the store's office was used to power a refrigerator and microwave in the break room. The Dolgencorp LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1455672, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/13/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 40976 AL 77 South, ASHLAND, AL 36251. The Dollar General Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1283802, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/23/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2222 Texoma Pkwy Sherman, TX 75090.
