29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. All Best Contractors Corporation does not ensure that employees use appropriate fall protection while engaged in commercial construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels. This violation was most recently observed, on or about 03/08/22, at Barington Court, Building 3 in Mount Holly NJ: a- Barington Court, Building 3, Mount Holly NJ: Two workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 11 feet 3 inches to the ground and at times the cement surface below, when walking and working at and near unprotected edges of a commercial structure's second floor without the use of fall protection while performing framing and other related activities. Condition observed on or about 03/08/22. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
