29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: (a) Williams-Sonoma Stores, Inc. at 5503 Havana Street in Denver, Colorado: On or about February 24, 2022, the emergency exit route in the medic corner was obstructed by a work bench and boxes of inbound material. This exposed employees and temporary workers to safety hazards related to impeding their ability to exit the building in an emergency. (b) Williams-Sonoma Stores, Inc. at 5503 Havana Street in Denver, Colorado: On or about February 24, 2022, the emergency exit route in the inbound department on the south side of the building was obstructed by mattresses and boxes on pallets. This exposed employees and temporary workers to safety hazards related to impeding their ability to exit the building in an emergency. Williams-Sonoma Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1281710, Citation 1 Item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on January 10, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 5145 Peachtree Parkway, Norcross, Georgia 30092. Williams-Sonoma Stores, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1446085, Citation 1 Item 1B, and was affirmed as a final order on January 13, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 3420 Urbancrest Industrial Drive, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
