29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible: a) Entire ship; on or about March 2, 2022 and at times prior the employer failed to provide employees using 3M 6300 half face respirators with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible. Employees performing fitting, welding, and cutting operations are allowed to voluntary use respirators without the information provided in Appendix D of the standard.
