29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) 3899 Blk Governor Printz Blvd Wilmington, Delaware 19802: On or about January 13, 2022, the employer failed to ensure employees were trained in work zone safety standards and on site specific conditions, procedures and traffic control plans/concepts which resulted in several hazardous conditions that exposed employees to struck by/caught in hazards when they performed site preparation work for road patching activities. The Brandywine Construction Company, Inc. DBA BCCI was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1465419, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/05/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Rt. 48 and Court Drive, Wilmington, DE 19805.
