29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): (1) All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. a) Storeroom, 918 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL: On or about December 17, 2021, employees were exposed to slip, trip, and struck-by hazards while working in the main storage/receiving room. The storage room was obstructed in that there was no aisle or path for walking and employees were required to create an aisle as they went when retrieving merchandise and U-boats. Family Dollar was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1480377, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 5/24/21, with respect to a workplace located at 181 Straight St, Paterson, NJ.
