29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: (a) Facility at 322 Water Street in Warren, RI: On or about November 23, 2021, the employer did not ensure that lock out/tag out procedures were utilized by employees while cleaning pump CJ #2 in the Bulk Production room, thereby exposing employees to amputation hazards. Blount Fine Foods Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1354646, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/12/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 630 Currant Road in Fall River, MA.
