29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. On or about October 15, 2021 on the east and south sides of the house, employees were exposed to fall hazards while accessing the roof with ladders whose side rails did not extend at least three feet above the landing surface: Ismael Delgado was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1490305, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/20/2020 with respect to a workplace located at 22710 Ginosa Trial, Katy, TX 77449. Ismael Delgado was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1314537, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/18/2018 with respect to a workplace located at 23815 Padova Gardens Drive, Katy, TX 77493.
