29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: On or about August 31, 2021, in the Casting Department, employees were exposed to 642.5 ug/cm^2 (5,968 ug/ft^2) of lead on the breakroom floor and the employer had not maintained the floor as free as practicable from lead. CAST INDUSTRIES, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1443774, CITATION NUMBER 2, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 31, 2020 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 580 NORTH STREET, SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS 62704.
