29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation: (a) Jobsite located at 3515 Midvale Avenue Philadelphia, PA, 19129: The employer did not ensure that water was removed from an excavation before footings and foundation activities were performed. Employees were removing stones in an excavation approximately 11.5 feet deep. Condition noted on or about August 27, 2021. Real Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.651(h)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1348513, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 30, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at with respect to a workplace located at 2010 Walnut Street, Philadelphia PA 19102.
