Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: On or about August 3, 2021, the employer failed to develop and implement machine specific procedures for all equipment and machinery that can be locked and tagged out, including but not limited to, the Mitek Component Saws and the Big House Truss machine GR-14-24. Employees are performing tasks, such as but not limited to, clearing of jams in machines, repairs and blade change outs, and are applying locks and tags. NOTE: The employer was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or it's equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection #1217202, citation 1, item 3, which was affirmed as final order on April 27, 2017, with respect to the workplace located at 4220 W. White Road, Oakwood GA 30566.
