29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c): a) Hole # 000-008 Between mile marker 6 and 10, HWY 64, Lone Mountain Trail, Big Sky, MT: On or about July 14, 2021, and at times prior, employees were exposed to cave in hazards while hand digging unprotected, vertical wall concrete piers foundations that were approximately 10 feet in depth. b) Hole # 000-011 Between mile marker 6 and 10, HWY 64, Lone Mountain Trail, Big Sky, MT: On or about July 23, 2021, and at times prior, employees were exposed to cave in hazards while hand digging unprotected, vertical wall concrete piers foundations that were approximately 8 feet in depth. c) Hole # 000-012 Between mile marker 6 and 10, HWY 64, Lone Mountain Trail, Big Sky, MT: On or about July 22, 2021, and at times prior, employees were exposed to cave in hazards while hand digging unprotected, vertical wall concrete piers foundations that were approximately 10 feet in depth. d) Hole # 000-013 Between mile marker 6 and 10, HWY 64, Lone Mountain Trail, Big Sky, MT: On or about July 23, 2021, and at times prior, employees were exposed to cave in hazards while hand digging unprotected, vertical wall concrete piers foundations that were approximately 9 feet in depth. e) Hole # 000-014 Between mile marker 6 and 10, HWY 64, Lone Mountain Trail, Big Sky, MT: On or about July 26, 2021, and at times prior, employees were exposed to cave in hazards while hand digging unprotected, vertical wall concrete piers foundations that were approximately 10 feet in depth.
