29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): Alchemy-Spectec, LLC - 4508 Bibb Boulevard, Tucker, GA - The employer did not perform a complete personal protective equipment (PPE) hazard assessment in that employees handling and unloading corrosives, catalyst, phosphoric acid, as well as other acids, were potentially exposed to eye, hand, and foot hazards and ppe was not required when working around these chemicals, on or about 06/25/21 and times prior to. Note: The PPE hazard assessment needs to be certified in writing in accordance with 1910.132(d)(2).
