29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Employees installing framing lumber at elevations of 6 feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system: The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on June 24, 2021, when 3 employees installing framing lumber on a 4:12 pitch roof of a house located at 2504 W Parkland Blvd in Tampa, Florida, were exposed to an over 23 feet fall hazard to the ground, in that, fall protection equipment was not installed or utilized.
