29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Location: 1045 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226; Roof a) On or about 05/12/2021 and thereafter, employees demolished the roof without the use of any fall protection. Employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 60 feet. b) On or about 05/17/2021 and thereafter, employees doing demolition of a roof unclipped their lanyards to transition to the next horizontal lifeline along the exposed edge. Employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 60 feet.
