29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: On or about April 26, 2021, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while performing roofing activities on a residential home located at 9662 Diamond Ridge Cr., Canal Fulton, Ohio 44614. The employees were using air powered nail guns and the employer did not ensure that they were wearing protective safety glasses. Miller Roofing & Exteriors Limited was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFE 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1443504, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/3/19, with respect to a workplace located at 2383 15th Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223.
