29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4):Ladders shall be used only for the purpose for which they were designed. a.) 4 Barnes Street Ware, MA: On or about April 19, 2021, employees were observed climbing the rungs of a Warner Shingle lift which was clearly marked as not to be used a ladder. Maria Caguana Cela and Manuel Castro was previously cited for the same violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053 (b) (4), which is contained in OSHA inspection number 1520554 citation number 2 , item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/18/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 184 Dalton Ave., Pittsfield, MA. Manuel Castro was previously cited for the same violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053 (b) (4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1488278 citation number 1 , item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/25/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 27 Cass Ave., West Springfield, MA.
