29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) Garage Roof - On or about March 12, 2021, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling while working without fall protection from a single story pitched roof having a ground to eave height of approximately 10 feet. b) Main Roof - On or about March 12, 2021, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling while working without fall protection from a second story pitched roof having a ground to eave height of approximately 20 feet. Presidential Roofing & Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1448713, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 5, 2020, with respect to a worksite located at 985 Twilight Lane, Wheeling, Illinois. Presidential Roofing & Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1199030, citation 1, item 2a, and was affirmed as a final order on February 15, 2017, with respect to a worksite located at 1701 Mansard Lane, Mount Prospect, Illinois. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
