29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed. a) Restacker: A restacker chain and sprocket, approximately 6 feet from the ground was unguarded. Employees are within 12 inches of the chain and sprocket when they are in the lower landing. b) Restacker: A restacker chain and sprocket, approximately 6 feet from the ground, and level with the upper level walkway, was unguarded. Employees are within 12 inches of the chain and sprocket when standing on the upper level walkway. Tamarack Mill LLC dba Evergreen Forest was previously cited for a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1282735, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 20, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 3555 Hwy 95, New Meadows, ID 83654.
