29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): a) 430 S. 10th Street, Sunbury, PA: Employees performing painting activities around an unprotected floor opening were exposed to a fall of approximately 18 feet, on or about February 10, 2021. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED Superior Painting and Contracting was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1228388, citation number 1, item number 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/27/17, with respect to a workplace located at 1020 Northern Blvd, Clarkes Summit, PA.
