29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about February 10, 2021, employees working at heights were not provided the training to recognize and minimize fall exposures, exposing the employees to the hazards of approximately 22 feet. Emerald Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1284456, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 27, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at W. Main St. & N. Old Rand Rd. Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
