29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c): (a) On or about 01/15/2021 - 7189 New Life Circle, Huntsville, AL also known as 446 Jeff Road NW, Huntsville, AL, employees were exposed to cave-in hazards when working without a protective system in a trench with straight walls that was approximately 30 feet long and ranged from 4 to 8 feet deep and 3 to 4 feet wide and an excavation that was 8 to 12 feet deep and 15 feet wide.
