29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a- 69-71 Building Exterior (Roof): Employees engaged in roofing activities on a 6 on 12 pitched roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18ft to the concrete below as a means of fall protection had not been utilized. Condition about 10/03/2020. b- 81-83 Building Exterior (Roof): An employee engaged in roofing activities on a 6 on 12 pitched roof was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18ft to the concrete below as a means of fall protection had not been utilized. Condition observed or about 10/03/2020. ALJ Home Improvement Inc was previously cited for repeat violations of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 501 (b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1381784 and 1439510. In regards to Inspection Number 1381784, Citation # 01, Item # 003, was issued on 08/13/19 to a workplace located at 16 Silver Terrace, Kiamesha Lake NY 12751.
