29 CFR 1910.178(m)(3): Unauthorized personnel shall not be permitted to ride on powered industrial trucks. A safe place to ride shall be provided where riding of trucks is authorized. a) Railyard - On or about September 24, 2020, and at times prior thereto, one or more employees were allowed to ride on the Konecranes Reach Stacker, SMV 4543 TCX5, Serial Number M10620 during normal operations. A safe place to ride was not provided, thereby exposing employees to fall, struck-by, and crush hazards.
