29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. On or about 09/29/2020, while performing roofing activities on the flat roof of the M&F Business Corporation Warehouse located at 345 Patton Drive in Atlanta, GA, employees were not protected a fall hazard of approximately 24 feet by a fall protection system, device or monitoring system. Sentry Roof Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1264698, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/27/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1142 Barret Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
