29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: Osman "Alex" Inestrosa dba Lifetime Contractor Corp. does not ensure that employees use appropriate head protection where employees were exposed to overhead hazards. This violation was most recently observed at 405 Franklin Turnpike, Mahwah, NJ, at instance (a): Employees engaged in roofing and labor activities were exposed to an overhead impact hazard while positioned on an elevated roof overhang and working at ground level beneath an active roofing operation, as the employer failed to ensure the use of head protection was utilized. Condition noted on or about 09/17/2020 To abate this violation the employer must ensure that its employees performing roofing activities are protected from head injury and that no employee is allowed to be exposed to head injuries without wearing proper head protection.
