29 CFR 1904.39(a)(1): Within eight (8) hours after the death of any employee as the result of a work-related incident, the employer did not report the fatality to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), US Department of Labor. a) Abingdon Care & Rehabilitation, 303 Rock Avenue, Green Brook, NJ 08812: On or about 4/27/2020: The employer did not notify OSHA within eight hours of a work related COVID-19 fatality of a Licensed Practical Nurse who provided direct care to confirmed positive COVID-19 patients at the facility. The employee died on 4/25/2020 and the employer was notified of the fatality on 4/27/2020.
