29 CFR 1926.1153(i)(2)(i)(A):The employer did not ensure that each employee covered by this section could demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the health hazards associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica: a. On or about August 19, 2020 and at times prior, at building 673 located at Patrick Air Force Base, FL. Employees engaged in concrete cutting using a Stihl Cut-off saw for the addition and renovation of building 673 did not receive training on the potential hazards associated with silica during concrete cutting.
