29 CFR 1910.178(a)(5): If the truck is equipped with front-end attachments other than factory installed attachments, the user shall request that the truck be marked to identify the attachments and show the approximate weight of the truck and attachment combination at maximum elevation with load laterally centered. a) On or about July 3, 2020, a non-factory installed attachment was used without the truck being marked to identify the attachment and approximate weight of the truck and attachment with the load at maximum elevation and laterally centered in that the employer used a LMS-EBT-46-4 boom attachment to move the steel coils onto a winder for a washer press and small equipment on various forklifts without the proper markings.
