Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Outside of the Warehouse: Employees working at a warehouse were exposed to to crush-by hazards while operating a Clark forklift. The employer did not ensure that employees were wearing their seatbelt while operating a power industrial truck. An employee was crushed when the forklift tipped-over, on or about June 3, 2020. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
