Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) MA Diaz Construction, LLC, at a jobsite located at 833-869 Hidden Springs Drive, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035: On and/or preceding May 7, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while engaged in residential construction activities. Employees were sheathing the second story floor without any means of fall protection, thereby exposed to fall hazards of up to 10 feet 4 inches. a) MA Diaz Construction, LLC, at a jobsite located at 833-869 Hidden Springs Drive, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035: On and/or preceding May 7, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while engaged in residential construction activities. Employees were framing the second story floor without any means of fall protection, thereby exposed to fall hazards of up to 10 feet 4 inches. MA Diaz Construction, LLC was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1008171, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 10, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2445 W. Dublin Granville Rd Unit 42, Worthington, OH 43085.
