29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(i): Each employee on walking/working surfaces was not protected from falling through holes (including skylights) more than 6 feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around such holes. Location - 205 Newbury Street, Framingham, MA 01701. On or about April 11, 2020, Fourteen employees were exposed to falling through unprotected skylights while installing new roof. Four employees with no fall protection system were instructed to remove skylight domes to build up their supports for new roof. The RCH Roofing Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.B)(4)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1403544, citation number 1 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 10, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 334 Russell St., Hadley, MA.
