29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: On or about March 12, 2020, on the roof of an addition being constructed on a commercial building where employees were exposed to a fall hazard exceeding fifteen feet when performing steel erection activities without a fall protection system in place. C & T Building Technologies, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1123742, citation number 1 item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 29, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 4203 Greenhouse Road, Katy, TX 77449.
