29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet or more (1.8m) above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: A). on or about 02/20/2020, the site of 147-07 94th Ave, Jamaica, NY 11435 Employees demolishing walls on the second floor of the 3-story building with a mezzanine were not protected from falling approximately 16 ft. to the ground along the south side of the building. SERIOUS VIOLATION: Cole Partners Inc. was previously cited for a violation this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, its equivalent, or essentially similar standard 29 CFR 1926. 501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1299167, Citation Number 01, Item Number 04, issued on 06/06/2018. Final Order Date 04/04/2019. WRITTEN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
