OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard. a) Gin Pole; On or about February 7, 2020 employees were installing sector gates on a communication tower utilizing a gin pole, were exposed to struck-by hazards. The employer did not ensure that the repaired gin pole sections were inspected by a qualified person to ensure that it met the manufacture's criteria.
