29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) Line 1 Trench Conveyors (North and South Conveyors) in the Front End - On or prior to January 7, 2020, the employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure for the Line 1 Trench Conveyors (North and South Conveyors). b) Line 1 Can Conveying Wet Elevator Area in the Front End- On or prior to about January 7, 2020, the employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure for the Line 1 Can Conveying Wet Elevator. Ball Metal Beverage Container Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1296296, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 04/19/18 with respect to a workplace located at 124 Carson Road, Birmingham, AL 35215.
