29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Madison Elementary, Wheeling, WV - On or about 12/16/19, employees working near an exposed edge at the roof parapet were not provided with fall protection, exposing employees to fall hazards. Colaiani Construction, Inc was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent standard (Cited as 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1426291, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/22/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 223 Tomlinson Ave, Moundsville, WV.
