Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, or uprights did not bear on base plates, mud sills or other adequate firm foundation: On or about 12/13/2019 and at times prior, at Lot # 64B of the Botaniko worksite, Weston, Florida, employees were working from a fabricated frame scaffold that did not have base plates, thereby exposing the workers to a fall hazard of 12 feet to ground level. Construction BCA LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1247445, citation number 01, item number 02, and was affirmed as a final order on 04/06/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 16479 Botaniko South, Lot 57B, Weston, Florida 33326.
