29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: a) On December 3, 2019, an employee working on the ground was not wearing a protective helmet where there was a possible danger of head injury from falling objects during masonry operations. Hera Construction, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1261076, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 2, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2608 W. Cortez St., Chicago, IL 60622. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
