29 CFR 1910.179(j)(3): A complete periodic inspection of crane(s) had not been conducted in the past 12 months: a) Steelmaking Building: On or about January 21, 2020, the employer did not perform a periodic inspection that includes all structural components on the "93 Down River Charging Crane" during the past 12 months. The last inspection date for structural components was performed on October 27, 2018. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
