29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit": (a) On or about November 4, 2019, the west exit doors from the sorting area were not marked with an Exit sign. This exit is marked as the primary exit from the sorting room on the posted "Floor Emergency Exit Map." Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet"). The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1389026, citation number 2, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on October 15, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 95 Fountain Street in New Haven, Connecticut.
