29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings shall be effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment. On or about October 8, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that electrical equipment was effectively closed with one missing knockout on an electrical box located at the wire respooler machine. This exposed employees to electrical hazards. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)
