29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(i): Each employee on walking/working surfaces was not protected from falling through holes (including skylights) more than 6 feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around the opening: a) 419 Linden Street, Scranton, PA: Employees jackhammering the concrete floor beneath their feet where not protected from falling while entering and exiting the work area, discovered on or about October 1, 2019. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED Nathan Contracting was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(I), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1205734, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/25/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 120 W. 9th Street, Erie, PA.
