29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4): Each employee on walking/working surfaces was not protected from falling through holes (including skylights), more than six feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around such holes: a) Jobsite located at 301 Corvus Circle, Media, PA: The employer does not ensure that employees engaged in framing activities are protected from falling through a basement/open stairway floor hole. This violation was most recently documented to occur at the property 301 Corvus Circle, Media, PA on 7/30/2019, where employees engaged in moving a framed wall on the 1st floor were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet when working next to, and over a basement/open stairway floor hole. To abate this ongoing violation, the employer must ensure that holes are adequately covered or provide and require the use of fall protection systems so that employees cannot fall through six feet or greater through holes. Instance a documented to occur on or about 30 JUL 2019.
