29 CFR 1926.960(c)(1)(iii): The employer did not ensure that no employee approaches or takes any conductive object closer to exposed energized parts than the employer's established minimum approach distance, unless the measures outlined in 1926.960(c)(1)(iii)(A) - (C) were met: a) Site - On or about 07/01/19 and at times prior thereto employees were aligning poles in a new line in proximity of an existing energized line, and the employer did not ensure that safe approach distances were maintained, and/or adequate insulation methods were applied. Henkels & McCoy, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.960(c)(1)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1238270, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 07/06/18, with respect to a workplace located at 16002 Max Legget Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32218. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
