29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about June 28, 2019 during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at Lot 478 Bendelton Circle NW, Jackson Township, Ohio 44614; the employer did not ensure employees working on the roof of a residential single family home were protected from possible danger of eye injury from impact, or from flying objects from the employees installing roofing material. K & R Construction Ltd. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1329989, citation number 03, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/07/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2509 Plymouth St NW Massillon, OH 44646.
