29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. On or about May 7th, 2019, employees were exposed to burns and smoke inhalation hazards related to delayed emergency evacuation of the building while working where the exit access was reduced to less than 28 inches due to welded shelves and cabinets protruding from the conveyor belt: Instance 1: Old Building 100 Side, Head End, 24 inches between wall and the welded metal shelf for the SPA Station Instance 2: Old Building 200 Side, Head End, 24 inches between wall and the welded metal shelf for the SPA Station Instance 3: Old Building 100 Side, Drive End, 21 inches Between Belt and Electrical Panel Cabinet Instance 4: Old Building 100 Side, Drive End, 22 inches between wall and the 107 Inch Conveyor Belt Drive Cabinet The United Parcel Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.36(g)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1014793, citation number1, item number1, group a, and was affirmed as a final order on (04/08/2015), with respect to a workplace located at 2014 East Olive St, Decatur, IL 62525
