29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: (a) Electrical control room at Boiler/Firebox area - On or about April 22, 2019 the employer allowed the use of a flexible cord as a substitute for fixed wiring and employees were exposed to electrical hazards when utilizing a power strip plugged into an extension cord to supply power for the refrigerator and microwave.
