29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the scope, purpose, authorization, rules, and techniques to be utilized for the control of hazardous energy, including, but not limited to items A-D of this section. a). Further Processing Plant, Line #: 1 and 2 - On or about and times prior to March 27, 2019, the written energy control procedures (i.e. lockout/tagout procedures) for the Nothum Batter Pro machines (model: Mod Pro PD 450) failed to specifically outline the following: 1. Procedural steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking, and securing all sources of hazardous energy (e.g. electrical); 2. Procedural steps for placement, removal, and transfer of lockout/tagout devices; and 3. Procedural steps for testing the production lines to verify the effectiveness of the energy control measures.
