29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 04/03/2019 - 951 Grants Mill Road in Irondale, AL, employees were installing deck plates on a two story commercial building without fall protection approximately 11 feet above the ground. DDG Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1355336, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/07/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 430 E Walnut St. Springfield, Missouri.
